As your real estate agent, I'd recommend several steps to prep your home for sale. Declutter and depersonalize to create a clean slate, and deep clean to make your home shine. Make necessary repairs and boost curb appeal to ensure a great first impression. Finally, neutralize décor, stage strategically, and use professional photos to attract eager buyers.

What is the process for buying a home?

Let's break down the home buying process into simple steps. First, we'll figure out your budget and get you pre-approved for a loan. Then, we'll hunt for homes that match your wishlist, tour them, and choose the perfect one. Finally, we'll make an offer, ensure inspections and appraisals are completed, secure financing, and close the deal, making you a homeowner!

How much is your commission?

The rate of my commission is negotiable and is specific to each real estate transaction. A couple of factors that can impact my commission rate will be whether I am representing you as a buyers agent or as a listing agent and whether the transaction is for vacant land or residential property.

Marketing your home effectively is key to a successful sale. I'll arrange for professional photography and videography, help with staging if needed, and list your home on all major real estate websites to reach a wide audience. We'll also leverage social media campaigns and email marketing to generate interest and host open houses and private showings. By combining these strategies, we’ll maximize your home’s exposure and attract the right buyers.

How will you keep me informed throughout the buying/selling process?

Client satisfaction is a top priority for me. With that being said, I pride myself on my responsiveness and consistency. My team handles the majority of coordinating for you so that you can sit back and try to enjoy the process.

Are there any red flags I should beware of when buying/selling a home?

It's important to be aware of potential red flags in any real estate transaction. Pay special attention to the "Big 4" on home inspections: structural, plumbing, electrical issues, and the roof. Ensure there are no title issues or liens related to the property, and be cautious of unrealistic pricing. Confirm wiring instructions with the closing attorney to avoid wire fraud. When selling, watch out for lowball offers, buyers with financing problems, and offers with numerous contingencies. Always work with licensed professionals to ensure a smooth transaction.
